We’re Stampeding for 4-H Camp!

For every $25 you donate to the Cascade Lake 4-H Camp “Campaign 2010″ between now and June 30, your name will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win exclusive front row tickets to the Snake River Stampede in July.  These tickets will give you an up-close view of the rodeo action and concessions will be served to you in your seat (package valued at $400).

About Campaign 2010
The Cascade Lake 4-H Camp Board recently launched a fundraising campaign called “Campaign 2010.”  Our goal is to fund current camp improvements and to build a reserve to finish the projects with incomplete bids by the end of the year 2010. We hope to raise over $200,000 in three years through a combination of grants, corporate support, and individual contributions.

Campaign 2010 is underway and we’re making good progress. We’ve raised $4542 from individuals and received a $5000 grant from the John and Orah Brandt Foundation. That’s $9542 in just two months!

But we still have a long way to go towards our goal of $200,000 by 2010. If you haven’t donated yet, please click this link to make a donation using a credit card or PayPal account. We appreciate any contribution you can make, whether it is $5 or $500 or volunteer time.

Anyone who makes a donation to Campaign 2010 will be listed on the camp website as a “Friend of Cascade Lake 4-H Camp.”

The Camp Board of Cascade Lake 4-H Camp has officially launched a fundraising campaign called “Campaign 2010.” Our goal is to fund current camp improvements and to build a reserve to finish the projects with incomplete bids by the end of the year 2010.  We hope to raise over $200,000 in three years through a combination of grants, corporate support, and individual contributions.

We will be asking current and former 4-H’ers to donate whatever they can, whether it is $5 or $500 or volunteer time.  Anyone who makes a donation to Campaign 2010 will be listed on the camp website as a “Friend of Cascade Lake 4-H Camp.”

Next month we will be launching a major fundraising campaign for the Cascade Lake 4-H Camp.

Over the years, many improvements have been made to our fifty-six acres of pine forest on the shores of Cascade Lake Reservoir. Loans have been obtained, donations sought and volunteers recruited to build and maintain the camp’s facilities and amenities.

After 40 years of busy summer use, compounded by cold and snowy winters, there are still many areas of the camp that are in need of upgrade and repair.

The Camp Board has recognized the need to put a new fundraising plan in place to fund current camp needs and to build a reserve for future improvements. So in October we will be launching a new fundraising campaign called “Campaign 2010.” Our goal is to fund current camp improvements and to build a reserve to finish the projects with incomplete bids by the end of the year 2010.
