Next month we will be launching a major fundraising campaign for the Cascade Lake 4-H Camp.
Over the years, many improvements have been made to our fifty-six acres of pine forest on the shores of Cascade Lake Reservoir. Loans have been obtained, donations sought and volunteers recruited to build and maintain the camp’s facilities and amenities.
After 40 years of busy summer use, compounded by cold and snowy winters, there are still many areas of the camp that are in need of upgrade and repair.
The Camp Board has recognized the need to put a new fundraising plan in place to fund current camp needs and to build a reserve for future improvements. So in October we will be launching a new fundraising campaign called “Campaign 2010.” Our goal is to fund current camp improvements and to build a reserve to finish the projects with incomplete bids by the end of the year 2010.

You can also make a donation to camp online by clicking on the link in the right side of this page. We appreciate anything you can give, whether it is $5 or $500, or volunteering your time. Anyone who makes a donation to camp will be listed as a “Friend of Cascade Lake 4-H Camp” on the website.
